EKG tutorial for medical students (volume two). This is the Astonix project, volume two, written for educational purposes. 30 more EKGs are presented in this program. It uses a simple question and answer format. Multimedia presentation has been used to enhance the visual attraction of the images. These questions are aimed primarily at clinical year medical students. However, junior doctors and non-cardiac specialists may also find the program useful. Intensive care, coronary care, cardiothoracic, and emergency room nurses and paramedical personnel can also benefit. The questions cover a wide variety of cardiac problems. In volume two, many new areas and subjects are covered. A realistic clinical setting was chosen as much as possible. Treatment alternatives are provided in the answers. Great care has been taken to make sure that the academiccontent of the questions is valid, and the questions have been peer reviewed by a number of senior doctors and cardiologists. |

When marking a test the teacher enters question marks and comments, a comment on the whole test and updates the end of course comment if needed. A marking slip is prepared for each student together with a class summary sheet which shows mean and standard deviation for each question and the whole test. The marks are automatically transferred to the mark book for the class. |
