PassCrypt 1.2
22.01.2011, 16:02
PassCrypt lets you store all your Web usernames and passwords, along with banking, email, and software registration data, in one convenient and secure place. If you use the optional password protection, your data is encrypted using a military-strength (448-bit) Blowfish cipher. The program has two main elements: a Password Editor for entering your data and creating reports, and a tray icon for quick access as you surf.

The Password Editor lets you organize your data into folders and subfolders, and offers full search capability. Folders are assigned to one of four categories, and within each category you can select which columns to display. The default folders are Banking, Email, Software, and Web. The Banking folder displays columns such as Credit Card Number and Bank, while the Web folder lists Username and Password. There are eleven columns to choose from.

The built-in password generator can generate either secure or simple passwords, and includes options to satisfy whatever requirements a site may have. An extensive reporting feature lets you customize reports to show, for example, all passwords that have expired. With the import and export functions you can load your data into other applications, or transport the data to another computer--for example, a work or home machine.
