The software has been created as common program for surveillance cross platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar appearance and functionality on the local and apart computers. Users watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the program through net that surveillance server can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition considerably improves reliability because all components act as autonomous software. If one module stops working, other modules go on running. For instance if the `record` component stops working, `watchdog` restarts it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` module. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart server through Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
