By using FLock, you can limit user access to those WindowsNT resources that are initially 'defenceless' such as floppy disk drives, CD-ROM drives, parallel and serial ports of the computer. FLock advantages: It is implemented as a driver, its protection acts just from the system loading. FLock takes only a few system resourses and doesn't load the processor, because it doesn't participate in input-output operations. Known analogs are implemented as services and accordingly they are permanently in the memory and distract the processor. FLock additional features: Protection of drives, CD-ROM, ports. Remote Administration Separate permissions setting on listening to audio CD and reading of CD data. Blocking of CD-ROM tray that is unaccessible for a user. Features expected in a near future: Possibility of a simultaneous permissions setting on several computers using one of them as a pattern (for NETWORK license owners).
