Drag and Zip 95 makes Windows Explorer into a ZIP file manager. Select the files you want to zip, right-click on them, and choose Drag and Zip from the pop-up menu. Then just enter a name and a destination: PKZip-compatible zipping and unzipping are built in, and so is support for ZIP, TAR, and GZ archives. You can also use ZipView to scan any archive for viruses before extracting, and also delete files from the archive. Several new features allow you to display and extract UUencoded, XXencoded, BinHex-, and MIME-encrypted files, encode ZIP files in UUencode and MIME formats, choose from two ZIP file display options, and more. Drag and Zip's built-in file viewer has been beefed up to support BMP, PCX, and some TIF formats, as well as ASCII text.
