Tech-Pro Zip lets you quickly and easily open, view and extract (unzip) files from compressed Zip archives. It can just as easily create Zip archives, too. If you didn't already know, the Zip format is the industry standard format for storing files and folders in a single, tightly-compressed archive. Windows XP even has built-in support for Zip archives. If you have Windows XP, then Tech-Pro Zip supplements this built-in support by providing a separate Zip / Unzip application. You can use Tech-Pro Zip instead of Windows XP's Explorer, or as an alternative. We think you may find that Tech-Pro Zip is actually a more convenient way to work with Zip files!
As well as a Zip manager for working with Zip files, Tech-Pro Zip adds options to Windows Explorer context menus enabling you to quickly convert folders to Zip files, and convert Zip files to folders.
