Archive eXchange is the successor to our award winning Tar98. No other TAR archiver has the raw performance or convenient drag and drop interface that we have designed into Archive eXchange. In addition to being easy to use, we have added extensive support for all versions TAR file/tape format, including long names and archives that can span multiple files or tapes. With all of these features, Archive eXchange is the new gold standard for TAR utilities under Windows XP, Vista, and 7.
