Ext2read is a Win32 program that allows you to interactwith a Linux ext2 file system under Windows 9x/NT.Claus Tondering wrote the original version for use inDOS. Peeter Joot ported ext2fstools to Windows NT.Ext2Read makes use of Ext2fstools (binaries included inthe distribution), and adds new functionalities to it: Graphical User Interface; Windows 95 explorer style facilities such ascontext menu and drag drop (not yet implemented); Copying multiple files and/or directories; Unlike Ext2fstools, while copying, allows the use of any kind of name (long or doted); Filtering the file listing; Viewing files using user selected programs; Following symbolic links (not yet implemented).
