Browser Window Size wants to know two things only: yourmonitor resolution and your operating browser. Basedon these two pieces of information, it tells you howmuch space you have available (under those conditions)within your browser's window for a Web page. If youhave to take into account your current availablemonitor display, or if you are forced to work with acertain display size only, you know what I'm talkingabout. Browser Window Size takes into account the spaceyou have available (for displaying a Web page) withinyour browser's window with toolbars both expanded andcollapsed. The 'Maximum available browser window size'is measured with all browser toolbars expanded whilethe 'Minimum available browser window size' is reportedwith all browser toolbars collapsed. For instance, click on 'Netscape' and then on '800x600'. The resultsare displayed in the last frame, called 'Availablebrowser window sizes'. These are: Maximum 795x500pixels and Minimum 783x430 pixels. This modus operandiis valid both for Windows-based systems and forMacintosh computers. The only difference between themlies in the monitor resolutions and, of course, thebrowser (toolbars) sizes. As for the Color Picker, it'sa pretty basic application - lets you choose a colorfrom the ColorPalette and provides you with its Hexcode, for HTML use. It also allows you to steal colorsfrom your desktop or, for that matter, from any windowopened behind it. The ColorPicker is already awell-known application. You can select Red, Green, Bluevalues or enter an HTML color code to obtain its RGBvalues. You can also choose one of the system colorsand get their HTML equivalent.
