Go-Getter is a file harvesting software. When pointed to a single starting web page Go-Getter will search through every related web page, downloading the desired files to the users hard drive. For example a user may wish to download every MP3 file on a website, or only the files larger than one megabyte.

Searches can be constrained to specific web sites, sections of web sites, file types or file size. Files can be saved to replicate the structure of the website onto the users hard drive or sorted by file type. Information about the downloaded files can be saved to a database, preventing subsequent searches from downloading duplicate files even if the original files are no longer in the download directory.

Go-Getter impersonates popular web browsers, enabling users to download from sites normally protected against offline browsing. Go-Getter also supports SSL connections, as well as script based sites using asp, php or cgi. Go-Getter supports multiple groups of settings through projects. This enables the user to create settings for each site without loosing configuration information from previous searches.
