Network Virtual Serial Ports Driver is an advanced utility, the purpose of which is to emulate null-modem cable on computers located in a TCP/IP LAN or connected to the Internet. In other words, with VSPD Net you can create any number of pure virtual serial ports in your system, which will be connected over TCP/IP network to another computer via virtual null-modem cable. Real serial ports will not be occupied.
Example: You have two computers, host1 and host2 for example, connected with TCP/IP networking. You can create virtual serial port COM5 on host1 and virtual serial port COM6 on host2 and connect those ports to each other via virtual null-modem cable. Everything, that application on host1 will send to COM5 will be received by application on host2 at COM6, and all that application on host2 sends to COM6 will be received by application on host1 at COM5.
