CheckGet is a FREE bookmarks and favorites manager which lets you CHECK your favorite Internet sites automatically, and detect if their content has changed or has become unavailable. It notifies you via a popup message, by playing a sound file when such a change is discovered. CheckGet can even send you the updated web page or file by e-mail automatically or download it from the Internet and save it to your HDD. The program features the handy explorer-like user interface and an ability to filter out your bookmarks automatically. CheckGet includes an embedded HTML preview pane, which enables you to easily navigate through your favorite Internet pages and to find necessary information without loading your browser. In addition, it supports both LAN and dial-up Internet connections, and includes drag-and-drop capability. The program can run as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
