Firefly is meant to be SIMPLE. We know there are lots of complicated software tools for making your surfing safer. We believe parents should be active in their children's online experiences. Once you have your favorites entered, parents should be able to let their children surf safely without constant supervision. However, Firefly does not disable or prevent children from using chat or other web-browsers. It is up to parents to make and monitor their household surfing rules, one of the simple rules for your children is simply to use Firefly to surf the net.

Firefly, our SIMPLE web-browser for children, has the following features:

2. It can only go to websites linked from these pages AND pages approved by parents that are added to your favorites.
3. It uses Google to perform searches, but presents results that are filtered of inappropriate content. Access to the Google results will require an adult password.
4. It has a time-management facility so that parents can set the time the browser will work.

Firefly has no spyware or other software that will interfere with your computer. It is offered free-of-charge to all children, everywhere as part of our commitment to making the internet a safer place to be.
