Search any site on the Web, an intranet, your hard disk or your LAN. You can search through HTML pages or anyother files (ASCII or binary). This Java program requires no server-side software (CGI or other) and allows you to search sites that do not have a search button. You can refine searches, filter by directory names, file types, etc... It can also be included in your site to allow users to search it. There is even an indexing function that allows you to index the site(s) searched.
