A component for Borland Delphi 2 and 3, which replicates the functionality of the 16-bit AAPLAY.DLL which wasprovided by Autodesk Inc. The component is written in pure 32-bit Delphi, and uses a combination of Device Independent Bitmaps (DIBs), ImageLists and multi-threading for optimal performance. As far as possible, the functionality of AAPLAY.DLL has been replicated in the new component. The latest version of the player supports both pre-rendering of animations and transparent blitting to the screen.
