A package installer which reads arguments from the command line or a batch file, and then packs all installable data into a single full featured user-friendly GUI installer.
It can be used not only to install programs, but for any other kind of code or data.
All you need to create a package is: 1. Files to be installed. 2. Two GIF files - one for logotype and one for header. 3. Optional license text file. If none, the license page will not appear at all. 4. A short package definition file where to define all noted above.
On the command line you can specify the source path, destination path and the batch file, where package definitions reside. Both - the command line, and the batch file - can be easily placed into a single file to simplify packing process.
To create a new package update, you just need to launch the batch file, and your work will be done in second, saving your time and preventing you from errors. Using this technique you can update your packages as frequently as you want, keeping your users happy.
