Here’s the lowdown: Search by voice – speak out what you want to look for, and the application will perform an online search. This feature provides support for English, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. My Location – when performing a search for nearby businesses, you need not provide your location. The app automatically detects your location and looks for businesses in that area. Google Suggest – as you start to type in a query, the app throws suggestions your way. If you see one that matches what you want to type in, tap it. Search history – a list of queries you entered in the past is saved; when you need to search for the same thing again, the list of recently performed queries is there to help you out. Email search – search for a phrase from the body of the message to find an email. Or search for the name of the person who sent it to you. Links to other Google apps – the app provides one-click access to install or open other free Google Mobile products. For example it provides easy access to Gmail and Maps.
Again, to download the Google Mobile App for BlackBerry you need to visit m.google.com from your device’s browser. The app is available in 7 languages to users in 20 countries. Additional information on the app is available on Google’s help center here.
