Google Pack is a selection of Google-picked free software applications that you may want to install on your machine. It includes Google-branded products like Picasa and Chrome as well as various third party applications, Adobe Reader, Skype, and Mozilla Firefox. As the Mountain View-based search engine giant Google put it, the “software in the Google Pack helps you browse the web faster, remove spyware and viruses, organize your photos, and more.”
The news is that as of this month, Google Pack serves a security software solution called Immunet Protect Antivirus. I’ve never heard of this application and if it hadn’t been for Google, I probably never would have heard about it. I know, I should be ashamed of myself.

The point I am trying to make here is that it just goes to show you how much of influence a big company like Google can have. Now that Immunet Protect is included in Google Pack, a lot of people are going to find out about it.
