Cupertino-based software developer Apple has recently updated its digital media player iTunes to version 9.0.3. iTunes 9.0.3 follows in the footsteps of 9.0.2, which was released about three months ago. Version 9.0.2 was interesting because it added support for Apple TV 3.0 Software, redesigned the main menu, and let users listen to Genius Mixes and Internet radio on their home theater systems. Version 9.0.3 does not disappoint – it also comes with some important changes.
The most important change is that iTunes no longer ignores the “Remember password for purchases” setting. This was quite a big nuisance that irritated numerous users. I mean why have the option to “Remember password for purchases” if iTunes would constantly forget the password?

That would be the main change that iTunes 9.0.3 brings to the table. But apart from curing the amnesia issue mentioned above, iTunes 9.0.3 also features these other changes:
Some users experienced problems while syncing Smart Playlists and Podcasts with iPod. This issue has been remedied.
iTunes sometimes had problems recognizing when the iPod was connected. This has been fixed as well.
And finally, iTunes 9.0.3 fixes stability and performance issues, making this version the best so far (from a stability and performance point of view, obviously).
iTunes version 9.0.3, which weighs in at close to 100MB, is available for download via Software Update. Alternatively you can download iTunes 9.0.3 here.
