Mac Only: The Chrome Team's Favorite Browser Extensions
A few days ago the Chrome team told the world what Chrome extensions they find to be most useful. Extensions are small applications that are meant to enhance the browser’s functionality and generally make your life easier. Here are the extensions that make life easier for all the Mac users on the Chrome team:

Google Voice – this Chrome extension allows the user to make calls to landline and mobile phones, send text messages, preview the inbox, and receive notifications when he gets new messages. Please note that the functionality this extension provides is available for US users only.

Send from Gmail – if you want to quickly share a link via email, then you need to get this extension. It makes Gmail your default email app, opens a Compose window when you click an email address on a webpage, and presents you with a button that composes Gmail messages (the subject is the page title, the selected page text and link is the message body).

iReader – in a scrollable, easy to read and ad-free interface, you are presented with new stories and other articles.

Google Dictionary – know how you can use Command-Option-D in other Mac applications? Well, this Chrome extension is like that. While surfing the web, it allows you to easily and quickly see definitions for words you do not understand. Double click a word and a small pop-up bubble with its definition will appear. Alternatively you can use the address bar dictionary to view the complete definition for any word of phrase.

Delicious Bookmarks – Delicious is the world's leading social bookmarking service (you may know it by its del.icio.us); Delicious Bookmarks is the official Google Chrome extension for Delicious. What this application does is it integrates your bookmarks with the Chrome browser and keeps your bookmarks in sync. You can easily access your bookmarks from the Chrome browser or by going to www.delicious.com.

Instachrome – this Chrome extension allows you to save URLs to Instapaper; you can easily collect articles from the web and read them at a later time, when it is convenient to you. Please note that you need an instapaper.com account to use this service.

You can check out more than 7,000 Chrome extensions on the Google Chrome Extensions gallery here.
