The New Bits in Firefox 4 Beta 8
The latest version of the Firefox 4 browser to be rolled out by Mozilla is Beta 8. This version has been rolled out to the public just in time for Christmas. Firefox 4 Beta 8 comes with a few interesting new features.

Better Firefox Sync Experience
As you may already know, Firefox Sync (the add-on that allows you to keep your bookmarks, history, passwords, and even tabs in sync) is integrated in Firefox 4. The setup of Firefox Sync has been streamlined in Firefox 4 Beta 8 in an effort to make it easier to keep your important data in sync. With this latest Beta release it is even easier to setup Firefox Sync.

Better 3D Graphics
WebGL is a 3D graphics API for JavaScript that developers can use to create fully 3D web apps; developers can come up with applications that until now required the user to install plug-ins. The news is not that Firefox 4 Beta 8 supports WebGL for most modern built-in graphics cards; the news is that the Mozilla team made speed, functionality, and compatibility improvements to WebGL

Better Add-ons Manger
The new Firefox Add-ons Manager enables add-ons to update automatically thus ensuring your add-ons are never outdated, ensuring you always have the latest and newest version of an add-on. Firefox no longer warns you when add-ons are out of date, it updates them automatically.
